Our office is able to provide Telemed evaluations for mental status evaluations for Social Security Disability.  Approval to do this must be done through the State of Illinois.  Contact your adjudicator in Springfield about the possibility of this. Your adjudicator's name and contact information is on the paperwork that you have received from the State.  

Claimants under 18 years of age are not allowed to have Telemed evaluations per State regulation.

The office uses the Doxy.me platform for these sessions.  The claimants do not have to download any apps to do this.  All that is needed is a Smartphone or an internet connection for your computer/laptop/iPad.  

Instructions are sent to the claimants prior to the evaluation date.  A valid email address must be supplied to the office.  The claimants must confirm their appointments 48 hours prior to the appointment time. 

At the time of the evaluation, the claimant must be in the State of Illinois and in a private location.
